Volunteers play a vital role in organizations like ours, which are driven by sacrifice and altruism. Therefore, our association places great importance on voluntary work. Although we currently do not have a registered volunteer system, one of the projects we plan to implement in the near future is to have volunteers, residing in the same areas as elderly individuals who are alone or in need of care, check on them and ensure their needs are met.
One of the most beneficial areas for our volunteers is the regular visitation of elderly residents in our nursing home. In this regard, maintaining regular visits is very important. When our elderly are only visited on certain days (such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, holidays, etc.), and are not frequently checked on other times, it can create a sense of loneliness. Therefore, regular visits to our elderly residents are crucial for their well-being.
In addition to this, our volunteers can always contribute to our association by collecting in-kind and monetary donations, organizing various events, finding sponsors, and bringing project proposals.
