The Association for Establishing and Supporting Nursing Homes is a non-profit civil society organization operating in the field of social services, working for the public benefit. The Association was founded with the purpose of establishing and managing institutions under the names "Nursing Home", "Care Home" and "Day Care Home" to provide care for elderly individuals. These institutions are centrally managed by personnel appointed by the Association's authorized governing bodies. The Association does not have any branches.
Our Association was founded in Istanbul on February 11, 1963, and was granted Public Benefit Association status by a Council of Ministers decision dated May 17, 1967, and numbered 6/8229. This decision was officially published on page 7 of the Official Gazette, dated June 28, 1967, and numbered 12633. Since the date this status was granted, our Association has maintained its public benefit designation without interruption.
The Association works to meet the needs of elderly individuals -taking into account their financial situations- under suitable conditions, to ensure they live the final stage of their lives with dignity, and to protect the rights of the elderly. This mission has been carried out continuously for over 60 years.
In line with its objectives, the Association established the Istanbul Nursing Home on July 1, 1964. Operating in Bahcelievler, Istanbul, the Istanbul Nursing Home is a 45-bed elderly care facility. To date, more than 1,000 elderly individuals have received care at this institution.
